(mission, values and vision)
OBJECTIVES
To establish the first Institute for Advanced Studies in Optics Applied to Cell Biology, providing access to single- and multiphoton confocal microscopy techniques equipped with FLIM and FCS, as well as SHG, THG, CARS, tip-enhanced microscopy, and Raman microspectroscopy/microscopy, either individually and/or in combination, for the execution of the various subprojects comprising this Institute.
To develop an interconnected microscopy system enabling the sharing of pulsed laser sources among different microscopes.
To perform simultaneous analyses of multiple cellular parameters using specific configurations of the available methodologies in live cells.
To conduct correlated studies integrating optical and photonic microscopy approaches, supported by complementary methodologies.
To develop innovations and improve existing processes that are part of this proposal.
