Thalyta Stefani Amâncio Santiago, Ph.D
She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from the Federal University of Uberlândia (2017), including a sandwich period at the École Nationale Supérieure de Chimie de Montpellier (France), and a Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Campinas (UNICAMP) (2020). She obtained her Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Campinas, under the supervision of Prof. Marisa Beppu and co-supervision of Prof. Bradley Olsen (MIT), focusing on protein–carbohydrate interactions for the development of bioinspired materials with diagnostic and therapeutic applications. Her research integrates bioinformatics approaches for recombinant protein engineering and the construction of polysaccharide multilayer films aimed at selective cell adhesion mediated by CD44.
