José Leonardo de Oliveira, M.Sc
Ph.D. candidate in the Graduate Program in Molecular and Morphofunctional Biology (Cell Biology concentration) at UNICAMP, working at the Laboratory of Extracellular Matrix and Gene Expression Regulation under the supervision of Prof. Hernandes F. Carvalho, using zebrafish as a model organism. He obtained his Master’s degree (2024) in Genetics and Molecular Biology (Animal Genetics and Evolution concentration) at UNICAMP and conducted research at the Boldrini Children’s Hospital Research Center in the Zebrafish Laboratory, with experience in human tumor cell injection in zebrafish (xenotransplantation – zPDX) in the perivitelline space (PVS). He holds a Teaching Degree in Biological Sciences (2022) from UFRJ – Macaé Campus (NUPEM). As a CNPq Undergraduate Research Fellow, he investigated manganese toxicity effects using zebrafish at the Laboratory of Translational Biosciences (LIBT). At UNICAMP, he participated in the Teaching Internship Program (PED) in several undergraduate courses, including Molecular Biology (Nursing), Human Body (ProFIS), and courses in Medicine.
