Antônio Thiago Pereira Campos, M.Sc

He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Physics (2016) and a Master’s degree in Physics (2020) and is currently a Ph.D. candidate (2021–2025)He works in the fields of Photonics and Biophotonics, with emphasis on nonlinear optical microscopy techniques applied to biomedical research. He has experience in the implementation and application of advanced spectroscopy and microscopy based on femtosecond lasers, including Two-Photon Excited Fluorescence (TPEF), Second Harmonic Generation (SHG), Third Harmonic Generation (THG), Sum Frequency Generation (SFG), and Coherent Anti-Stokes Raman Scattering (CARS)In the field of photonics, he applies two-photon excitation microscopy and optical spectroscopy techniques for the characterization of different materials, such as semiconductor quantum dots and carbyneHe is currently conducting his research at the Institute for Advanced Studies in Optics Applied to Cell Biology (INFABiC), located at the University of Campinas (UNICAMP), São Paulo, Brazil.
